What inspired you to get into the financial services industry?
I fell into the industry by chance, to be honest. My parents had told me for years that I should get into the finance industry in some capacity, but I never took them seriously. In late 2016, after bouncing around a number of jobs (but not careers), I was recruited by TD Bank. I spent about 5 years learning the industry, moving up the ladder, and honing my skills, before moving to The Andrews Group in 2022. The rest, as they say, is history. I have no regrets (other than waiting until 2016 to get my foot in the door), and know that this industry is where I belong. Mom, Dad – if you’re reading this – you were right.
What is your favourite activity?
My favourite activities are travel and exploring new places, live music, and sports, such as golf, soccer, and hockey. In a perfect world – and quite often – I combine two of them, or all three!
What do you love most about your job?
It’s two-fold – helping people visualize and realize a pathway to achieving their financial goals, and also being an educator and confidant. Providing unbiased guidance and advice, and really getting to know people beyond the surface – their goals, dreams, and what is important to them and their lives – is a unique daily experience and something that I feel very privileged to be able to do.
