One of the reasons I started my own business was that I always wanted to make a genuine difference, however small it might be. As I’ve reflected on my own life – still a work in progress – I’ve realized that making a difference has included my own lessons learned from both successes and failures, from both achievements and struggles.
Over time, I’ve jotted these lessons down. I call them my “core beliefs.” And here I am putting them together in what I hope will be a thought provoking read for you. I’ve labeled it my own manifesto because the purpose of a manifesto is to incite change. In some small way, I hope my manifesto incites some positive change for you… on your own terms, in your own way.
As I’ve stated, I am very much a work in progress and by no means do I “have it all figured out.” I’m no expert. However, one lesson I’ve learned in many aspects of my life is that it’s never too late to make changes, to tweak my life in some way. We’re never too old to do that.
It’s why I believe that your time is now.
Most of what you’ll read here comes from friends, family and experiences – and for that I am deeply grateful.
My hope is I can deliver some insights in a different way, not to foster your intelligence, but to motivate (and maybe inspire) you to find the commitment and discipline to actually do something different or better for you.
And then my hope is that you will tell me your own story. Excerpt from “Your Time is Now” by Mike Andrews © Copyright 2016
