On June 18th, 2026, The Andrews Group team members gathered for our Second Quarter Office Quarterly Meeting. All I can say is what better way to celebrate and finish off a morning full of insightful, engaging and informative one on one team building conversations with the intent to strengthen in office relationships and get to know a little more about each team member on more of a personal level, and to further understand each individual’s role within company, then to embark on a three-hour tour of six of London’s hidden gems known as “A Taste of London.”
Our journey started at the Covent Garden Market where we were greeted by our two very enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guides from Forest City Culinary Experiences. As a group we then proceeded to tour the market with stops at the Tea Haus, the Hot Oven, the New Delhi Deli where we were treated to taste signature teas and dishes. From the market we proceeded to La Calaka. A relatively new establishment to the London area where we were served up their take on traditional Mexican cuisine. It did not disappoint. Once we were finished there, we took a short walk across the street to the London Museum, had a quick tour of some of the current exhibits on display. Then we made our way to Yaya’s Kitchen (also located in the London Museum) where we were pleasantly surprised with a tasting of a few Ethiopian delicacies. On our final stop, we took a short stroll along the Thames to the Bicycle Café. A unique and unexpected atmosphere, where the Chef presented us an appetizer inspired by her Dutch heritage.
All in all, it was an amazing experience. A great time was had by all. And in such a simple way reiterated that we are not just a team, but a family.
