What do you like most about wealth management?
Wealth management allows people to achieve financial independence capable of promoting not only a comfortable life but also the achievement of goals and the realization of dreams. What I value about wealth management is the ability to develop relationships with people, understand their goals, and help them go the extra mile and live extraordinary lives.
What do you love most about being part of The Andrews Group?
The team not only owns them, the team lives up to their core values. Employees are hired not just based on skills but values and ethics. Skills can be learned and developed, but values are rooted in our existence. This way of working means that each team member can bring authenticity. Great results are achieved when people are encouraged to cultivate their best selves.
What quality of yours makes you best suited to do what you do?
Caring and vibrating with people’s success are what make me well suited in this position. In addition to the technical skills honed over my years of experience in the administrative area, I believe that seeking to do for others what you would like for yourself is an extremely important quality when your position requires interacting with people daily.
How should people think about their wealth?
I don’t believe that there is only one correct way of thinking about wealth, but it certainly must be thought about, studied, and planned. There are many types of wealth, but financial wealth makes it possible to enjoy the other types. I remember a phrase my father says constantly: “Money doesn’t bring happiness, but lack of money brings unhappiness.” That was the loving lesson I learned from him. Money is not necessarily so important as to make you completely happy but being able to satisfy you and your loved ones’ needs gives you peace and tranquility to seek a pleasurable and joyful life.
What do you like to do outside of work?
My passion is to be surrounded by family and friends. Organizing activities with the people I love the most in the world is what makes my days happy. Also, I love summer and seasonal activities like going to the beach, riding a bike, and having a barbecue with friends. When the days are cooler, a good meal at home with the family and watching movies makes my day.
What would you be doing if you weren’t working for The Andrews Group?
I would certainly be doing some work that would allow me to help people make their dreams come true. I believe that I would look for an activity that could develop people so that they could effectively direct themselves toward their goals.
What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
I am very proud of the life I have built, and I am sure much more will come. My biggest accomplishment, however, has been managing to move my family to Canada. It took a lot of planning, dedication, and focus to raise money, acquire language skills, and develop the ability to adapt to a new culture and customs. This help me develop a lot as a person and helped me to realize even more that my ability depends only on how much I want something.
What professional achievement are you most proud of?
If I had to choose only one to represent me, I would say completing my Canadian Securities Course. It required enormous focus and incredible determination.
What was the most influential book you’ve read and why?
Believe It. The book brings the story of Jamie Kern Lima of starting a business, being rejected multiple times, finding success, and ultimately selling her company for over a billion dollars. During the narrative, it is possible to connect with the author, realize the enormous challenges faced, and discover what it takes to become a successful person. The book touched me immensely by presenting in such a realistic way the saga of starting the search for the realization of a dream discredited by everyone until the realization that it is possible to achieve anything if you believe in and work hard for it.
